Krokodil Caricatures
A series of original drawings, all published in the famous Soviet satirical journal "Krokodil". (Крокодил - Crocodile").
During the 1960-1970s this journal was one of the very few official outlets of criticism of the Soviet Union, and it was read eagerly by everybody.
The artists draw in a style far apart from the classical socialist realism, and they are more inspired by the early post-revolution style of caricature.
