Moscow in the Soviet Era

Moscow cityscapes and genre scenes was a favourite topic of many Soviet artists of the 1950s-1970s. In many cases the paintings shown in this exhibition are the artists' private works - painted when they were not busy doing commissions ordered by state organisations and enterprises.
