Thematic Shows

The poster is one of the brightest examples of the Soviet art. From the late 1920s through the 1970s, this art form created its own language in the Soviet Union.

From the “Post-Avantgarde” images of 1920-1936, through the clean-cut Socialist Realism of the 1950s, and to the more modern language of the 1960s-1970s, these posters tell a story of politics, the people, and the art tendencies in the Soviet Union.
