Soviet Scientists and Explorers

The superiority of Soviet scenice was an important dogma, and the scientists and explorers were often depicted in the fine arts as well.

This exhibition shows works by Soviet era artists, for example Lipa Rojter, Boris Dyatlov, Klara Vlasova.

As a curiosa, we also show the Soviet cold war view of a Western scientist, in Veniamin Briskin's works of the late 1940s.
