Satchko, Filipp (1914-1977)
Filipp Nikolaevich was born in Saratov, where he also went to art school before the war. Before the war, he entered the Leningrad Institute of Fine Arts.
While serving in the army, he also joined the famous Grekov Studio of Artists of the War, which had the objective of depicting the war with the artists' eyes.
He became a member of the Artists' Union in 1944. After the war, he finished his studies at the Surikov Institute in Moscow in 1948
