12 Months

Twelve Months (Двенадцать месяцев) is a Russian fairy-tale by Samuil Marshak  (1887-1964). The plot: On an evening in January, a spoiled young queen sends her servant into the woods for the impossible task of finding April flowers in the midst of winter. The young peasant girl finds the flowers with the help of the personified twelve months.
