Mallow

Illustration to the short story Malva (Mallow)  from 1897 by Maxim (Maksim)  Gorky, whose original name was Alexei Maximovich Peshkov (1868 – 18 June 1936). He was a Russian and Soviet writer, a founder of the Socialist realism literary method and a political activist.
