Adolf Ivanovich Demko was born in Moscow, and in 1965 he the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. He is a member of the Artists' Union since 1975.
Since graudation his favourite media has been lithography, and his favourite topis is the streets of Moscow - particulaly evening cityscapes.
He is a Merited Artist of Russia (заслуженный художник), and in 2005 he was awarded the Gold Medal of the Russian Academy of the Fine Arts.
