Vyacheslav Ivanovich Pavlov was a famous Moscow graphics artists, specializing in etchings and engravings.

From 1951 to 1959 he studied at the Moscow Stroganov institute working with murals, and he became a member of the Artists' Union in 1963. One of his favourite themes was Napoleon and the Napoleon war in 1812.

In the year 2000 he was awarded the title of the Honoured Artist (заслуженный художник) of the Russian Federation.
